Cut-off temperature is measured with silicone oil bath of which temperature is increased at the rate of 1° per minute. Detecting current is 0.1A or less.
Th and Tc are for C-UL(CSA) and CCC respectively.

Features
  • t is a high performance thermal cutoff/ resistor assembly which combine a cement resistor with a fusible alloy type thermal cutoff and has an overheat protect function.
  • It uses coil-winding for greater ability to withstand inrush current.
  • It can open the circuit certainly in the case of any circuit malfunction. Its characteristics rarely fluctuate.
  • It provides extremely robust electrical insulation and voltage withstanding properties after it functioned, and almost no trouble occurs with residual resistance or re-continuity.
  • It does not contain lead (Pb) and cadmium (Cd) in compliance with RoHS.
  • It does not contain 46 substances of very high concern (SVHC) that are specified by REACH as of Dec. 2010.

Technical Terms
  • Rated Functioning Temperature (Tf)
    The acceptable tolerance is +0,-10°C

  • Holding Temperature (C-UL&CSA:Th, CCC:Tc)
The maximum temperature at which the thermal cutoffs may be maintained.

  • Maximum Temperature Limit (Tm)
The maximum temperature at which an opened thermal cutoff does not reclose.
